Mary Dodd Campbell of Little Rock, died Monday, August 1, 2011.
She was born December 13, 1940 to the late William J. and Daisy Dodd
Etzbach. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, James W.
Campbell, and a daughter, Regina R. Henderson. She is survived by her
son J. Ashley Campbell and wife Dr. Cindy Hubach, granddaughters Anna
Kathryn Campbell and Meredith Dodd Campbell and cousin Wesley K. Clark
and wife Gert.
She enjoyed traveling for many years with her husband who was in the
military for 23 years. After returning to Little Rock, she worked in the
real estate field for several years. She was an alderman on the Cammack
Village City Council for 10 years and a 2 time past president of the
Quapaw Quarters Antique Club. She loved collecting and refinishing
antiques, being a wife, mother and grandmother. She spent many years
researching the family genealogy.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday,
August 3, at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home (501)224-8300.
The funeral service will be at 9:00 a.m., Thursday, August 4, 2011 at
the funeral home chapel with Reverend Don Cooper officiating. Interment
will be at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of
Pulaski County, 14600 Colonel Glenn Road, Little Rock, Arkansas 72210.
